American Public Television Programs Honored at 45th Annual Telly Awards

40 Telly Awards given to APT-distributed series and specials 

BOSTON, MA (May 23, 2024) – Programs distributed by American Public Television (APT), the leading syndicator of content to U.S. public TV stations nationwide, have been honored with a total of 40 Telly Awards on May 21st. The 45th Annual Telly Awards celebrates excellence in video and television across all screens, celebrating the season’s theme of “Beyond the Frame.”

Winners include Bare Feet with Mickela Mallozzi with two Gold and one Silver award; Samantha Brown’s Places to Love with one Gold and six Silver awards; and The Laura Flanders Show with one Gold and two Bronze awards. Public television programs broadcast on national multicast channel Create — produced and distributed by APT, The WNET Group and GBH Boston in association with NETA and PBS — won 35 Telly Awards in total, which include 22 for APT-distributed titles.
